Region 3 dvds

I have some Region 3 dvds that I want to back up. How do I back them up so I will be able to play them on a Region 1 (USA) player? In other words can I back them up as Region 1?

As long as they are NOT in PAL format (Typically Region 2), you should be able to use DVD Shrink to change to Region 1, as well as create a backup...
