I've read the thread on 3/4 about the issue which I am experiencing. I have DVD shrink 3.2 and Nero 6.6.0.8, and likewise at first I had no problems with the dvd shrink. All of a sudden it encodes (backup the disc), but doesn't eject the disk so I can put in the blank disc so I can burn. My InCD closes all the time (when I try to open nero, or dvd shrink), but I uninstalls and then reinstalls the InCD 4.3.11.1, and it still closes, would that have an affect on my backup not moving on to the next step. If so what can I do to get this back functioning correctly. By the way the last dvd I tried to burn was barbershop. I own these discs, purshased and all, I just wanted to make an extra copy in case this one scratches up to much or something. Also I will add one day in the registry I accidently deleted a file called avatar (I believe), does that have anything to do with this. Please help, and please be kind with your answers

firmware?
Thanks for your reply. By firmware do you mean my dvd burner that I put the physical discs in to copy and then place the blank disc in to burn to? If so, then can you be so kind as to tell me how would I do that. The reason being is because I bought the dvdrw/r from a computer shop here in town, and had them to put it on the compute for me. I am afraid, or should I say skeptical to do it myself, because when I go to the firmware page, they have that big warning "only for advance people". Plus i don't see my model on there (IDE1108, firmware version B018) that what came up for my dvdrw on the firm look up when I used flashman's tool. Now when I use, firmware download on the firmware page, I don't see the firmware for the dvdrw. what should I do?Comment
