I use Nero to do my burning and have had probably 95% success.My problem comes when i have the odd coaster (usually my fault).My trouble is stoping Nero and closing it down and ejecting the disk.The cancel option is highlighted and none of the options under File are highlighted.Also the disk will not eject.
The only thing which i can do is shut down and reboot.
Is this normal?

no.

you're not trying to stop/cancel nero during the burning process ?

The burn process has failed (coaster).Just burns for ever but the % doesnt go up.

send your last "burn failed" nero log (remove your serial # b4 sending)
