Faster endcoding programes

Q:1 I use nero right but it takes about 25mins to encode 200,000kb, is this a normal speed or is there another program i can use?

Q:2 when i burn the vcd's is comes up very blocky on the screeen, is this were compressing comes into it? or is there somthing to get rid of this?

That would depend upon both the quality of your source material and software and procedures you use to convert...

You could experiment with "Sonic RecordNow" (don't use "Roxio")

Do you get the same effect when played on your computer with a software-based player?
