Backup drive selection

Hi, I am new to DVD Shrink and need assistance. I have used DVD Shrink on an old pc and it works great. I just purchased a new (hopefully faster) pc, Dell Dimension 8400 with a phillips DVD RW drive. I am able to run the analysis portion on the DVD being ripped however when I get to the backup window, I am not given the DVD RW drive as an option, only to backup to the hard drive or to burn through DVD Decrypter. Any ideas to help me? Thanks

Have you got Nero installed and selected Burn with Nero in the preferences?

Yes, I have Nero installed, I installed Nero before DVD Shrink or DVD Decypher. I have selected burn with Nero in the preferences.

Hi and welcome to the forum, nhctucker!

Think that you are using a version of Nero that was shipped with your older burner. If so - it will only work with your old burner.

Another try could be to update your Nero to latest version. If you are using ver 6.x: http://www.nero.com/en/nero-up.php

You could use the freeware DVD Decrypter for burning instead.
