Blue, Purple Over Movie

During my flask conversion the movie flashes blue, purple, etc.. colors over the entire movie. However, when playing back the original vob files the color isn't there. It doesn't happen with all my vobs or mpeg files. I'm using divx 5.0.2, flaskmpeg 6.0p, and smartripper 2.26. Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?

I had the same problems with one of my first rips. My fault was that the resolution of my final movie was NOT dividable by 16. I changed this and the purple areas were gone. Guess that's what you gotta do.

I've been doing it in 720 x 480 so I don't think thats it but thanks
