Problem w Mpeg2Avi - No Sound

hi all,

i tried to use this mpeg2avi proggy (with GUI plug-in) to convert some mpeg2 (from svcd) to divx.

however, the conversion qulaity is reasonable but i got no sound at all. when i played it on mplayer6.4, the volume bar was greyed out.

any ideas? i tried to look for all options and it seemed to me that this proggy only converts video but not the audio.

can anyone help?
