Deleted Divx, need to extract audio from mpg

I have encoded a Divx film into an SVCD but extrated the audio incorrectly and being a tidy person I have deleted the original AVI . Can someone point me towards the article on how to use TMPEnc (I have seen it somewhere but I cannot find it again!) to synchronize the audio or even rip the audio from the mpg to start again.

    TIA

Extract audio: Open in TMPEGEnc. File -> Output to file -> WAVE file.

If the audio is out of sync you should better make a new rip. In most cases resyncing the audio takes a lot of work.

Open Tmpg and go to file-mpeg tools. Then use the demux tab and browse to your mpeg. It will list the m1v mpeg1 video stream and the mp2 audio stream. Double click on the audio stream and then choose an output file. This will give you the 224 Kb audio stream that can later be muxed with a new m1v video stream.
