I had a thread earlier about my vid capture problems.....I got some good feedback on where to find the format i needed so I could capture and then encode into divx, but I had a problem with a lack of sound in the needed format.
Now it seems I have found a bug in the core of things....the first clip recorded has sound, each subsequent clip is silent no matter which video format is selected....Has anyone else had any problems with this hard ware? restarting the computer fixes it for one recording session, but that isn't much fun.....i want to capture a few then encode, and time may not allow for a restart....
I thought it might be a conflict between the ati capture card and the nvidia video card....has any one used nvidia's personal cinema with any success? I just ordered a vid card with it and I will try it and post results if no one has used it before...
