    gknot/dvd2avi help

i got everything working. I followed dooms guide and finished the dvd2avi part but when i open the file in gknot...i only get like 12000 frames instead of 120000 or whatever. Whatever is happening it is only taking about a tenth of the film anyone know what i might be doing wrong???

      answer

the thing is...i never even finish the divx. When i open the .d2v file i can see in gknot that it is not even close to being a complete file so i dont bother finishing the process

        also

sometimes when i try to open a d2v file i get an error reading: "file not a valid dvd2avi project (v1.76, YUV2)" and it wont let me open the file even though as far as i can see...i had done nothing different from the times that it does open without an error. Any help????

When you preview the file in DVD2AVI do you see the whole movie ?, are you sure you selected the right vobfile ?.

              yes

i can see the whole movie in dvd2avi and i even let it all run before i save the file. I have also tried not letting it run and just saving the file. But i have never gotten more than a coupla thousand frames and thats only when i can open the file and dont get that error

Are you using the correct settings and version 1.76 of DVD2AVI?
