only the half soundfile is coded

how come that when i have the wav-or AC3 sound file from a movie and it is the hole sound file i have checked ,
but when i code it to mp3 or something else its only the half soundfile grrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol .please can someone help me with this.

i have a fujitsu-siemens with 1000mhz cpu and 386 mb ram, i use smart ripper and dvd decrypter , and dvd2avi and razorlame ,besweet or headac3he , i have try ed all this software to this movie but i still end up with the half soundfile when i code it to mp3 .
i rip the video with smart ripper and dvddecrypter and use dvd2avi for a dvd2avi procject and the sound, then i have tryed
besweet ,razorlame and headac3he and for besweet and headac3he i have used doom9 audio guides .
