DivX Log file error

Hi there,
I recently wanted to encode a DVD to DivX 5.02. Somewhere along the way I must have adjusted the settings because when I try to encode now it gives me an error message:

"Couldn't Open Log File for Reading"

I have tried re-installing the DivX codec but it still gives the same message. Does anyone know how to fix this so that it will encode as it did before? Or let me know where this log file is. It doesn't seem to exist anywhere on my system.

Are you trying to make a two pass encode ?

You most likely have the codec set on '2-pass second pass', which can't be used untill you have run a first pass, using '2-pass first pass'.

If you don't want to spend the extra time on two pass encoding, just set it to 'one pass'.
