8:3 aspect ratio compressions

I was able to render a 1024 x 384 divx encoded AVI. However, I was unable to render a 2048 x 768 divx encoded AVI (in adobe after effects.) Has anyone else come across this situation?

Does divx put a limit on the compression width?


I'd appreciate your help greatly.

Just a quick answer: yes, there are restrictions... And (If I remember well) DivX has a smaller limmit than DivX Pro.

I'll check (at home, I'm now at work) what that resolution is...

Resolution:
Standard: any integer with a multiple of 4 up to 1920x1088
PRO: any integer with a multiple of 4 up to 1920x1088
