Weird DivX problem
A movie on CD that was okay before now runs choppy (small problems every 10-15 seconds). I checked several other movies I have on CDs, but they were okay. Today I burned another one, and it runs with problems from the CD drive, but with no problem from the hard drive... What could be the problem? Your comments would be appreciated!

Have you tried running a CD/DVD cleaner disc on your burner? -
Yes, I'm using different brand now. I think that brand is irrelevant, so as players and burning software (it is also different).
I think also that video encoding is the same...

Think again! There is a distinct possibility that the brand of CD-R can cause differing behavior (I would not have mentioned this to start with if it weren't a possible cause.
BestBuy and even your local drugstore chain probably carries the Maxell CD/DVD cleaning disc - at about $10 US...Comment
