I've been using GordianKnot & Nandub DivX3 to encode some movies, previously I used Nandub on it's own but l like the improved stats file etc you get from GK.
My problem is... if you do an automated 1st & 2nd pass with Gordian/Nandub, how do you correct errors afterwards?
I'd like to go into Nandub and just re-encode the scenes in the movie that contain errors, and then edit them back into the original. This approach works fine, but I'm not sure what Nandub settings to use.
My plan is to use the .avs, .stat & .ecf file created by the original passes. I can then make a Nandub configuration .vcf file by reading the contents of the Knot log file... does anyone know if Gordian uses the same Nandub setup every time (apart from the bitrate)?
In earlier versions of Gordian you were given a default .vcf file, but now this all seems to be built in?
