    Frame Rate

In DVD2AVI when I preview the video it shows as 29.970fps. When I save the project DVD2AVI shows it as 23.976fps.

So in Guardian KNOT when I open the .d2v project it displays as 23.976fps when I suspect the video is actually 29.970fps. Does changing the fps at the bottom of guardian affect the actual output frame rate of the avi after encoded, or is it just used for the resolution and bitrate calculations?

Reason being is that my audio is playing way before the video. I am using the .ac3 stream and interleaving it using Nandub. I am thinking that possibly my video is encoded at too low a frame rate resulting in this sync error. If the frame rate in guardian knot has nothing to do with the error then I don't know what to do cause I played around with the interleaving and have tried everything else with no luck. My next step is to try Terrabit AVI Info from Nikki's Pages.

I've also heard about interlacing and IDVT or something like this. I'm not familair with this and am thinking I mayhave a problem there. The movie if FILM, NTSC, 16:9, 13 or 29fps.

Any info to me out? THanks.
