    Huge file created...

    Hey,

I followed the instructions on the site on how to encode using flaskmpeg to create a divx.dvdrip. I tried this with a movie which is about 2 hours (vob .99gb x3 + 978 mb x1), and used divx 5.02 first pass/640 x 272 and the file ended up around 2.15 GB!!! I was looking to get around two CDs worth of data, and split them later. Plus the file didn't open after lol.

So anyone got an good tips, I am new to some extent, but I want to make a good two CD divx.dvdrip of using my vob files. I've tried the gordon knot, and I can't seem to get that down path...

    TIA

If you unly used '2 pass first pass' it's no surprise it won't play. The first pass doesn't produce any video. I can only assume that the inflated filesize is caused by messed up audio settings.

        Take a look at doom9's divx5 guide.
