I recently purchased an Archos Jukebox Multimedia 20 GB.
I've been transferring video files to the portable player, using MP4SP a front end for virtualdub, however with some of the movies, in particular longer ones, there's a problem with the audio/video synch by a few seconds, i'm not sure why and how to correct the problem.
The player supports:
MPEG4 simple profile
Resolution CIF: max 352 x 288 pixels @ 30 frames/s
Mp3 stereo soundtrack
Max file size 2 GB
Avi file format.
If i ripped the audio and video seperately then joined them together, would that help? and if so what program could i use to rip the audio in mp3 format?
I've tried using a higher bitrate, and using virtualdub itself without the front end, neither which have helped, im pretty useless at encoding, so i'd really appreciate some help
Thanks.
