Audio synching probs joining 2 Divx avis in Nandub

Im sure ive managed to do this before, but i just cant remeebr the best way -

I need to join 2 Divx avi clips (same bitrate etc) - the 'problem' beign that the audio for each clip is has different delay values (i.e. -279 and -2775).

I have been trying to use nandub for this, and i just cant remeber how i set the audio values i.e is it 'avi audio' (therefore i dont need to set the interleave option - which woudl only apply if i was opting for mp3s.

do u get what I mean? so the 2 clips im trying to join ALREADY have audio in synch (but at different delay values to each other), but when joined one of the clips will have its audio out of synch.

what should i do? as i mentioned Ive tried this before with a film that hade to be broken up (after it was encoded into divx) into at least 5 parts due to the audio needing different delay values - it took a very long time to sort out, but eventually i had it sorted (near enough anyway)

    many thanks

Check out the following link and scroll down. Have not tried joining anything yet but his cutting instructions work.

Well actually i don't know how to make a link so you will have to cut and paste.

yeah, thanks. they are quite clear and precise.

I think the problem I was having was solved by changing the audio offset values of the first file

and also - I ve no idea why I started worrying about VBR/mp3 audio interleaving options, i should just make sure that both files have avi audio selcted

iwas making it more complicated than it actually was.
