Is it Possible for a Realtime DivX Capture

I would like to use a Hauppauge WinTV (USB) to capture
directly to DivX.

Is it possible to do the first (of two passes) in realtime
(YUY2?) and then offline do the (encoding) second pass.
(I would like to do a 2 pass to get the best quality)


I have a Pentium 4 (1.5 GHz), 256 Megs,
7800 rpm Drive, and a WinTV USB tv tuner.

No you can't use two pass encoding for capture. Two pass encoding require two passes on the exact same source, there is no way you can do that when you capture.

you can only use 1 pass encoding for capture.
