ripping special features

if i want to rip the special features off of a dvd waht would be the best way to do that, and can i combine that with my movie that i rip?

I have another question is it possible to join to video sections that have different bitrates

I don't know about the last question but you should be able to do the special features by simply adding that particular VOB off the dvd. I use smart ripper and look for the play time of each chapter to figure out which one I need.

Yes, as long as the resolution, framerate, and audio samplerate is the same.
