I sometimes get the message: "video compression error -100" What does this mean? How can i avoid it?

I don't have an idea what i did wrong... I usually don't get it, but sometimes it happens....

That error is usually indicative of a bad video frame - and is usually followed by the number of the offending frame(s). Delete the frame(s)...

Try reinstalling the DivX 3.11 codec...
