    a few questions...

Hello, guys, I have a few questions to ask:

First can anyone tell me if there is a speed/quality difference when encoding a divx movie using rgb and yuv?

Another one: Is there a size limit to the output movie? (avi)
For example I have heard that in win98 there is a 2mb limit, however, recently I encoded ''El Cid'' and i got a 2,4mb avi file which I played back successfully and cut it in 4 parts using virtual dub. I mean, if i wanted to encode a 3-4 hour movie would it be necessary to encode the half of it and then the other half, or encode it all at once not caring about the output size even if I got a 3mb avi file? Did I confuse you?

    thanks!

Under Win98, with a FAT32 format hard drive, the absolute filesize limit (for ANY type of file - data, video, etc.) is 4 Gigs. If you use Open DML AVI on such a system you CAN create DivX-compressed .AVIs up to 4 Gigs in size. If you use "standard" AVI, you're limited to 2 Gig filesize...
