    size problems with divx3+asynth+nandub

    I am using Smartripper+Asynth+Nandub(divx3 2pass) for encoding.
the problem is that the final size is not what i want it to be.
i already tried a few things but it didnt help. its not only 3mbs
like "normal" more like 20. if i want to have 175 its something like
    150.
would be nice if you could help me

A few things you might try to increase the filesize:
    1. Increase the bitrate
    2. Raise the gauge values

If that does not help, your particular video has most probably reached maximum quality and you wll need to do some modifications to the video so as to "raise the bar" of the maximum quality. Some of these modifications may include:
    1. Increasing the resolution
    2. Increasing the colour saturation (do this lightly, as the 3.11 codec tends to result in shits the stronger the colour is)
    3. Use the sharpest Precide Bicubic resizer

I'm looking for such subtitle archives as well unfortunately. I have a lot of DVDs with great picture quality, but terrible subtitles. Sorry, can't help you on that one.

                Cheers.
