Hi all,
Apologies if this is a dumb question but I am pretty new to this video converting stuff. Anyway here goes...
I have a number of video files with the extension .m2v which I wish to convert into DivX format files so I can play them back on a portable device. Is this possible?
I have read several threads and found that TPMGEnc can convert them into mpg files which I thought I would then be able to convert using VirtualDub which I have been using to convert other files into the format I require for my portable device. However, when trying to load the mpg files that TPMGenc has created I get an 'MPEG Import Filter: Pack Synchronisation Error' message pop up and the file won't load.
Is it possible to do what I want and if so could you give me some guidance.
