Lag when trying to view movie in fullscreen mode

I got a problem with encoding.

When i'm finished with my file, i open it with windows media player 6.4. It seems to work fine, but when i try to view the movie in fullscreen, it "skips" or lag, if you know what i mean. Very irretating, as i want to view my movie fullscreen (of course!).

I have tried to encode the movie with FlaskMPEG 0.6 preview and Xmpeg, both times with DivX Pro 5.0.2 and 2-pass encoding.

It should not be a problem with my computer - an P4 1,3ghz with 384mb RAM.

Somone got some kind of experience or solution to this problem?

Use different players. Have you tried WMP 6.4?

It worked with DivX Player!

But is there something wrong with the encode?
I thought it should work with all players. WMP 6.4
use to work fine for other DivX movies on my
computer.

If thats not the only movie that doesn't work in WMP then try updating the version, but if you can watch the movies in other players, then just stick with it
