While using the GordianKnot 0.26b + Divx 5.02 Pro GUIDE, by the way, the directions are user friendly, my final product found the audio to be out of sync with video by about 2 to 3 seconds. Tried the guide step by step 3 times using the movie Bad Company. Same result all three times. Audio out of sync. Can anyone help me with a possible solution to this problem. Many thanks to all.

Try this:
1. Load up AVI file in Virtual/nandub
2. Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy
3. Under Audio, go to Interleave and input the appropriate value in the 'Delay audio track by x ms' box
4. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new fileComment

I tried your suggestion today. Results were:
The movie appeared to play correctly at the very beginning, the thunder and lightening seemed to be in sync, then when the opening credits started, the movie started flickering in one place, appeared as though it wasn't advancing forward. When it continued normally, the audio was out of sync again as before.
Didn't matter what setting i used in th delay audio track.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Is there anything else I could try?Comment

How fast is your cpu ?, what resolution are you encoding at ?
I suggest you try lowering the cpu load by doing the following,
In wmp6.4 select File->Properties->advanced->'divx decoder filter'->'quality settings', and enable yuv extended mode and overlay extended mode.
Restart wmp6.4 and select File->Properties->advanced->'divx decoder filter' and move the quality slider to Min.Last edited by khp; 4 Dec 2002, 10:24 AM.Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.
