Here's the thing. I'm capturing VHS videos using MGI Videowave 4 which captures in avi format and I used DivX compression. The compression worked like advertised but the problem I encounter was with the audio. The video and audio were not sync'd even when selecting syncronization with audio. I think what's happening is that DivX is just too good. It compressed the video so much that it could not keep up with the uncompressed audio. Looks like I may need a "half as good" codec to compress my video on capture.
Do any of you have any ideas of what I could do or use?
