Need help making a .Wav from .Avi

Hiyas,
I downloaded this movie but the index was corrupt so it wouldn't play. So I opened it up in VirtualDub and let is reconstruct the index. I can now play it but the audio amazingly out of sync..
After VD had reconstructed the index it came up with this.....



ok that first part IS unacceptable I can't get the sound at all right so I wan't to make a seperate .Wav file of the movie and add it to the picutre to compress and interleave myself.
How do I do it from the .avi movie file?

Have you tried using DivFix to repair the file?

Yep that's the first thing I tried. Didn't even fix the bad index either. .. only vd could do it.

I can get it in sync in a desired part of the movie but like 10mins either side it's out of sync and it just gets worse as the movie goes on.

Try using nandub instead...
