DivX 3 works but not Divx5

I am using Gordian Knot .27 trying to compress Star Wars 2.

I've tried and tried and tried using DivX 5.02 Pro, but my audio comes out not in sync with video...I can't fix it by changing delay either. I just tried compressing with Divx 3.11, and audio came out in sync.

Does anyone know what my problem could be?

Try playing the divx 5.02 file in BSPLAYER, and/or reducing the post-processing settings.
