    Missing the ac3 + "end credits" in Gknot

    Hi
    it's hard to encode this "lord of the rings". encoded the end credits separately....and they are missing, as well as the audio,
    the log:

    Something obviously went wrong durring the muxing, yet it took 4minutes and 23 seconds, which means that the operation didn't simply fail to start in nandub. Perhaps you ran out of HD space ?.

    Anyway youn will have to preform the muxing manually.

    1) Load the file D:\FELLOWSHIP_EXT_D2\lord2.avi into nandub.
    2) Set video->'Direct stream copy'
    3) Select File->'Append avi segment', and select the file lord2_credits.avi
    4) Select audio->'AC3 audio' and select the file lord2 AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3.
    5) Select file->'Save as avi' and save the file under a new file name.

    Of course you need to have as much free space on your HD, as the combined size on the Three file that you mux.

        Yes, nothing special needs to be done. But Why would you do that ?.

        After ripping, DVD2AVI is the only program that deals directly with the vob files. When you load a vob file into DVD2AVI, for example VTS_01_1.vob, DVD2AVI will automatically append any vobfiles in the same folder, named VTS_01_*.vob, and the project file you create will only cover these files. If the last file is missing, that part of the movie will simply be lost.
        Ahh, I forgot something, the above is only true if you don't do subs. Vobsub relies on the info found in the ifo file, to rip the subs from the vobs, but if one of the vob are missing vosub will probably not work properly.

          Very simple,
          the fellowship of the rings special edition, has more than 15 min. of irregular end credits located in the last vob....so i just think that it´s a lot of wasted ..space
