make sure the resolution is not too big(not more than 400xsome number less than 400)
that seems to be a problem in encoding for me.
i make the reolution in tmpgenc is half of the original, e.g. 640x272=320x136 -
TMPGenc doubles (depending on the settings) the mpeg file because mpeg-4 movies have far greater compression than mpeg-1 or 2. And since you're creating mpeg-1 or 2 (you didnt state anythng about the original file) it can be assumed that you were trying to make an (s)vcd, which requires more space than the original movie source.Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? no it was ok(obviously slightly less quality) a friend tried it on his standalone dvd and said it was fine .it was the first half of a two disk xvid film!
I would use "vob instant dvd " all the time but it converts some xvid files upside down, any ideas? i changed settings in fdshow already and it still plays upside down.Comment
