When using DivX 4.11, older versions of BeSweet, and older versions of VirtualDub I used to be able to encode DVD to DivX with no problem using the following method:
DVDDecrypter
DVD2AVI
Gordian Knot to create .AVS file
VirtualDub 2-Pass encoding to create .AVI file
BeSweet to encode .AC3 file created by DVD2AVI
Nandub to Multiplex MP3 and AVI file.
Now when I use the latest versions of the same software I am having Audio/Video synch problems. The audio is probably a second or two ahead of the video.
Is anyone else using the above method with the new software and getting it to work? Are there now better ways to RIP a DVD with good quality?
I am just wondering why I am having these synch problems using the same method by using the new software components.
Your help and experience is apreciated.
