    Size Problem with my movie.

I have recently tried to encode Spider-Man, and I ripped it to my computer using Smart Ripper, I am using Flask-MPEG with the Aviout plugin and I am also using the Divx 5.03 Codec. I had a 700MB file, great quality and everything. I accidentally deleted it, and now when trying to encode it again, it gives me about a 2.58 GB file and as far as I know I didn't change anything.

Is this a common problem? I really need help.

Sounds like the difference between Uncompressed PCM (.WAV) audio and MPEG Layer 3 (MP3) compressed audio...

Sorry about not mentioning this before, but I always encode with MPEG Layer-3, at 48000/128kbps. I did have it on 160 kbps before when I got the 700MB movies. All of a sudden nothing was compressing right I guess, I have everything like I remember.

I don't know what is different, I am going lower than I ever have on bitrate, but it still generates 8MB before the columbia intro finishes, which always ends up being a few GB.

If anyone STILL can help me, feel free
