hi everybody,
i recently got my hands on a movie encoded xvid.
i intend to re-encode it to a vcd, which up to now
has never been a problem with any divx movies.
i use vdub for the frameserving and tmpeg for mpeg
encoding.
video worked fine so far.
the remaining problem is to get the audio track...
first of all, tmpg doesn't accept the original xvid as audio
file. therefore i open the video in vdub and save it as .wav,
but the resulting track is full of reitinerating gaps, as if the
wrong fps were opted (is that possible for audio at all)...
now i need help, does anybody know how i can get the
audio track correctly? optimum would be mp3 or mp2 audio, since
that's tmpg's multiplexing standard.
...damnpainintheass...
please mail me, bloodshed@web.de
cheers / thx , Sebi
