What is the best way to DE-interlace??

I've read that using Avisynth bob would solve my problems, but I don't know how to do it. I also read that there is something called IVTC that would do the job a little bit nicer.



So how do I do it, and what do I need to do it??





(If someone could please give me an avisynth example I'd be glad.
