Converting 2 avi's into 1

I have 2 files and i need them to be only one. I dont care about compression..but i dont want quality loss at all. How would i do it in virtualdub?

virtual dub can do that for you, open virtualdub, open the first avi file then go back to file menu and select append avi file, then select the second file.
goto video options and select direct stream copy.
select save file as ... from file menu.
