    Vdub audio error message

    here's the message

The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format.

this is really weird anytime i try to change or mess with the audio i get this message.

Sounds like you are trying to compress an audio source at a different sampling rate (e.g. Applying a 44.1KHz compression on a 48KHz source).

The easiest way to find out is to play the file in WMP 6.4. Go to Properties -> Default DirectSound Device (or anything that relates to your soundcard). A new Window box should appear. Under the Audio Renderer, look at the nSamplesPerSec and check what value it is.
