I have an AverTV card, and I can analog video to MPEG-2. I've been trying to run flaskmpeg to convert the video to AVI files using DivX 5, but something happens to the timing of the video.
A clip that's a few seconds short of 30 minutes will come out 51 minutes long, and of course the sound is all messed up.
I tried upgrading my DivX 5.02 to 5.05, but that didn't help. I also tried selecting the DivX MPEG-4 codec in flaskmpeg, instead of the regular DivX codec, but that didn't help.
I'm sure I'm doing something really dumb.
One thing that's strange is that flaskmpeg wants to set the framrate on the output file to 23.976 instead of 29.97. I'm pretty sure that the mpeg-2 file is 29.97, but I'm not sure how to tell for sure. flaskmpeg itself says the input frame rate is 29.97. I've tried both output frame rates, and it's been broken both ways.
If anyone could help me, I'd be grateful... thanks.
