bitrate for recording of a tv card.

    hey,
i have a winfast 2000xp delux tv card. and i wanted to record some programs. in the settings it allows me to choose the format, so when i chose divx 5.0.2, it didn't let me configure it, so i went the fast motion setting, and i t did let me configure, but what bitrate shall i use?

for carttoons (e.g simpons) = bitrate for fast motion ?

for normal video (e.g friends) = bitrate for fast motion?

    thanx

Uninstall your DIVX codec pack that has the 5.0.2 codec association and Download the NEW DIVX5.0.5 codec here www.divx.com and use that instead and it should clean up your problem with not being able to configure the 5.0.2 codec if you decide to reinstall it for some unknown reason.

Depending on what you want your final clip size to be, it's really straightforward actually the higher the Bit rate the better the picture and bigger the file size and vice versa.

    Hope this helps
