    4.3gb Mpg

    Hi folks,

    I've used TMPGEnc to create a single 4.3GB Mpeg file out of a 600MB DivX movie, everything seems to have gone well. I have just 2 questions;

    1. If I burn this to DVD will it play normally on any DVD player?
    2. How can I easily split it up into chapters so navigation around the DVD is easy. No need for menus though.

    Thanks.

    You need to use a DVD authoring program.

      A) "I've used TMPGEnc to create a single 4.3GB Mpeg file out of a 600MB DivX movie, everything seems to have gone well."

      Hopefully, you've done this using the TMPGEnc DVD template/wizard.

      B) "1. If I burn this to DVD will it play normally on any DVD player?"

      No. You'll have to first create the required additional DVD files and structure. As alluded to by "davexnet", this can be accomplished by using a DVD "authoring" program. My personal preference (and extremely easy to use, is TMPGEnc DVD Author (a different program than TMPGEnc).

      C) "2. How can I easily split it up into chapters so navigation around the DVD is easy. No need for menus though."

      Again, TMPGEnc DVD Author will allow you to efforlessly create chapters - and a menu, if you like...
