    Is this possible?

    Hi,

I'm just wondering if it is possible to take a WMA file that has been encoded with WM8, and MUX it with a DivX video using an available program...like Nandub etc. I know that Nandub won't handle WMA directly, but I am looking for a way to use a WMA encoder other than the DivX Audio codec. Basically, I would like to be able to encode at 192 kbit/sec, which DivX audio doesn't allow. Is there an indirect way to do what I am asking?

    Thanks

Why not use MP3? You can convert WMA to MP3, at your specified bitrate then mux it to your DivX.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for the quick reply! I have used MP3, but I have found that I am growing quite partial to the quality that WM8 audio provides at bitrates which are lower than that of MP3. It's really just a minor thing, I am just curious about whether it is possible or not.

      Thanks

YES, I am sure it is. Cause VirtualDub lets you choose an audi codec and WMA is in it so why not try it?
