    Error Mode (VirtualDub)

    Hey all......

I've read a guide which explains how to check for errors in movies with VirtualDub..

My problem is: How do I fix those errors?

I've been told to "Scan Video Stream For Errors" and after that

"Save As Avi..". I did it, but after saving and then opening the

new file, there were still errors in the movie.....

How do I fix errors (video/audio.. mainly video) in movies ??
(With VirtualDub or and other program...)

You know, errors in video actually mean that some frames are corrupted & it's hardly repair, nevertheless you can cut them out
    All ways goes to FINAL

To fix those errors (freezeframes) you have to cut them out. VirtualDub does not automatically do that. It only tells you which frames are damaged.

how do I do that.. .????????????????

and how do I cut those frames?

I don't know which frames are bad... VirtualDub doesn't show me

which are bad. It shows the number of the bad frames.

        ......

And if I know which frames are bad.. how do I cut them..??

        (which program... and how..??)

If you are using the most recent version of either VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod, after you've scanned for errors, select "Mask bad frames" and then save with a new filename.

(If you delete the bad frames, you create out-of-synch audio/video)
