More vobs to 1 divx avi?

My main question: if I use a FAT 32 system and the vobs are ripped with a max 1 gig filesize, can I make one final avi out of them? With which programs?
Is it only possible by making more avis and then joining them together?

Among many other choices, you can readily use MPEG Mediator or Flask to handle, at one time, a group of .VOBs representing a video - and directly create one .AVI...
