Resize Divx XviD?

Hello

is there a way to easilly resize a divx movie from 512x384 to 256x192?
I don't want to convert it to MPEG first and then resize, this makes the quality worse!

Load it into VirtualDub and select the "Resize filter"

(Make sure to set your video compression to the same codec and configuration initially used)

If i'm not mistaking it will compress the video again, from divx to divx. I want the same quality, if you know what i mean...

You ARE mistaken. By default, VirtualDub's video output is set to "Uncompressed RGB". Therefore, from the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Compression" and, as I previously stated,
