I encoded a movie using Gordian Knot 0.28 and divx 5.05.
The first half of the movie is fine. BUT, the audio and video are out of sync in the rest...
Here’s part of the Gordian Knot log:
08:32:09: Finished DivX5-First Pass. Duration: 5 hours, 46 minutes, 31 seconds.
08:32:09: Trying to open Log-file.
08:32:10: Success: Log-file open.
08:32:10: Encoded: 167723 Frames.
08:32:10: Speed: 8.067 Frames per Second.
08:32:10: WARNING: Number of counted frames differs from settings!
08:32:10: WARNING: Settings: 167712
08:32:10: WARNING: Counted: 167723
08:32:10: WARNING: Difference: 11
08:32:10: Correcting Bitrate...
08:32:10: Original Bitrate = 1407 k(=1000)Bits/s
08:32:10: Now encoding at 1407 k(=1000)Bits/s
Why the audio and video are out of sync? Is it because of those 11 missing frames??
Is there a way to avoid this from happening?
Thanks.
