mp3 - avi synchronisation not possible

I ripped a movie with Smartripper 2.40, DVDx and DivX 4.11. When I was watching it, I realized that at the beginning of the movie the sound was syncronized with the avi. As longer I watched it, the sond was the movie behind.

What did I do wrong?

There are two possibilities

1) Your Audio and Video are Desynch
Try making the DivX again using different Interleaving values

When I encode with Mp3 Sound I use 500

2) Your PC is too slow for playing DivX files. As the playback
proceeds your PC gets slower and slower and the problem becomes obvious
I 've seen it happen even with PIII at 450. To see if that is the
reason restart your PC and then play again the movie at that part where u notice the problem. If it plays OK it's your PC fault
