    FlaskMPEG fails after 3 minutes of encoding

    Hello,

    First off I am here now, and I havent had much experience with making DivX movies but I am starting to understand.

    My problem revolves around FlaskMPEG and using it to convert the VOBs off a DVD into AVI files. It works for about 3% of the conversion....then all of a sudden stops.

    I am using DivX 5.0.2 pro video encoding and MP3 audio encoding at 128kbps and 48000Hz sampeling.

    anyone have a similar problem? .... or know of a different program that i can use to convert VOBs to AVIs and select a specific audio track? ...... thanks

    Andrew

    Hi!

    Before DVX, I also used flask, I never had any problem of this kind, but it's not the 1st time I see a post like this...

    In these cases the only thing to do is update codec (http://www.divx.com/divx/) and program (http://www.flaskmpeg.net/)

    Download FlasKMPEG 0.78.39, it's the best version ever!

      Sounds like the oft' mentioned, infamous Creative Labs soundcard's .MP3 codec at work again.

      1) If you don't already have another (besides the Creative one) .MP3 codec installed on your system, download and install the Radium (Fraunhoefer hack) .MP3 codec

      2) In your Control Panel, select "Multimedia" and deactivate all .MP3 codecs EXCEPT the one that includes the word "Professional"

      3) Reboot your system

      Let us know of your success ;>}
