DVD2AVI and AVIsynth problem

I there any reason why if I use DVD2AVI 1.77 to make my project file, when I open my script.avs file in VirtualDub I get an error.

Yet if I do exactly the same thing with DVD2AVI 1.76 it works perfectly?

Yes, avisynth only works with DVD2AVI 1.76.
The structure of the d2v file is different in DVD2AVI 1.77.
