re-encode all divx movies

I have quite a few divx movies of various divx codec versions and some with different codec audio. Is there any good programs that can do batch re-encoding to get all of my movies in a standard format? basically just read a source movie from a specified directory and then re-encode it? maybe some that can take advantage of HT and or dual processors? or maybe run more than one instance to fully take advantage of my system?

Use GordionKnot or DVX to create a job list and the files will encode one after the other. No point trying to encode all at once, it's much too resource consuming for it to be effective.
